Directions
The Square Tower is located on the corner of the High Street and Broad Street in the historic Old Portsmouth area of Portsmouth, Hampshire. The tower is just a short walk from St Thomas' Cathedral and overlooks the mouth of Portsmouth Harbour with views across The Solent towards the Isle of Wight and the Gosport peninsular.
Parking at the Square Tower
The following car parks are located within walking distance of the Square Tower. All operate a pay and display charging system, the parking charges are clearly indicated on the display boards and ticket machines.
BROAD STREET/HIGH STREET (RIGHT OUTSIDE THE TOWER)
There is on-road pay and display parking right outside the Tower, this currently becomes free of charge after 6.00pm. There are also resident's parking areas where you can currently park for two hours (this is due to reduce to one hour later this year).
CLARENCE PIER, PO5 3AP
Long Curtain Road, Southsea, just off of Southsea seafront, behind the fun fair. From here it is just a short walk along the seafront promenade to the Square Tower.
GRAND PARADE, PO1 2NF
Literally just around the corner from the Square Tower in Grand Parade there is limited parking for approximately 50 cars.

ACCESS TO THE TOWER
Lower Hall
Access is through the main door located near the hot walls archway. We do also have a ramped entrance.
Upper Hall
Access is through the double doors which you will find up the stone stairs to the left of the Tower on battery row.
There is ramped access to the Tower by Nelson’s statue by Grand Parade along the seawalls. The internal stairs are steep; anyone who finds stairs difficult is recommended to use the stairs on the outside of the building.
WIFI
WIFI is available at the Tower. Phone signal is very limited inside the Tower.
CARD AND CASH PAYMENTS
We accept both cash and card payments behind the bar. (Card Payments signal dependent)

(Disabled access is limited, a disabled toilet is located 100mtrs away at the hot walls.)
